Take a Virtual Store Tour with Heinen’s Chief Dietitian
The following article was written by Heinen’s Chief Dietitian, Melanie Jatsek RD, LD.
Does the thought of stocking your kitchen with healthy food excite or overwhelm you? If you’re like most people, you probably feel exhausted when you picture yourself cleaning out your pantry to make room for a new way of eating, not to mention a little nervous about making these changes.
Well, I’m here to calm your worried mind because first, you don’t have to get rid of everything! Rather than an “extreme makeover” of your current lifestyle, think about it as a series of mini makeovers. Perhaps you start by making better choices at breakfast, then snacks, lunch, and dinner, allowing for a couple of weeks in between before adding a new meal to your makeover plan.
However you choose to go about improving your eating habits, this virtual Club Fx store tour can help you stick to your commitments and achieve your goals.
The items included in this store tour have earned the right to wear an Fx™-approved button because they meet our strict criteria. Picture the two of us strolling up and down the aisles at Heinen’s, exploring the many Fx™-approved foods together. While you’re imagining this scene, I’d like you to think of ways you can add some of these products to your regimen to boost the nutritional quality of your meals.
