  • Beverages make fun fillers! For something buzzed, visit Heinen’s Beer Department and explore our assortment of single canned or bottled craft beers. For something booze-free, you can’t go wrong with single-serve coffees or Heinen’s Fan Favorite bottled teas and lemonades.
  • A small potted plant makes a beautiful addition to an Easter basket for someone with a green thumb. Heinen’s Floral Department has a variety of seasonal Spring options.
  • Don’t forget the chocolate! Clevelanders can now shop Malley’s Chocolates at all Cleveland-area Heinen’s locations. Including a bar or two is the perfect way to shop local!
Heinen's Grocery Store

By Heinen's Grocery Store

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
