Ingredients

  • Gerber Chicken Stir-Fry
  • Heinen’s Recipe Ready Diced Rainbow Peppers
  • Maya Kaimal Turmeric and Cumin Rice
  • Teta Foods Tahini Dressing
  • Big Picture Foods Banana Peppers

Instructions

  1. Place a sauté pan over medium-high heat and season the chicken with salt and pepper. Add some oil to the pan and brown the chicken.
  2. When the chicken is almost cooked through, add the peppers and cook for a couple minutes.
  3. Heat the rice according to the directions on the package. Top the rice with the chicken and peppers, drizzle with the tahini dressing, and garnish with the banana peppers.

In 1929, Joe Heinen opened the doors of a small butcher shop on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio, aiming to establish himself as the city’s purveyor of quality meats. As customers came into Heinen’s new shop for their meat purchases, they began asking him to carry groceries as well. Joe added homemade peanut butter, pickles and donuts and by 1933, business had grown enough to include a line of produce and canned goods. Heinen’s Grocery Store was born.
