Pork Steaks Done Right

Ingredients

  • 2 Heinen's Heritage Breed Duroc pork steaks
  • 2 tsp. Heinen's extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
2. Pat the pork steaks dry with paper towels, then transfer them to a sheet tray lined with parchment paper.
3. Evenly divide the olive oil between the pork steaks and rub to coat on all sides.
4. Season both sides of the pork with salt and pepper.
5. Place the steaks on a rack in the top third of the oven at 425°F and cook for 15-18 minutes or until it reaches 135°F to 140°F internally.
6. Rest the steaks for 2-3 minutes before serving.
