That’s right! Just like you can turn leftover turkey into a sandwich, pizza, or salad, you can transform leftover pumpkin pie into a deliciously drinkable dessert.

All you have to do is add a full slice of pumpkin pie to your blender with milk and vanilla ice cream, blend, add your favorite toppings, and enjoy!

This recipe features a homemade spiced whipped cream topping, but if you have leftover whipped cream from your Thanksgiving feast, use that instead. Don’t forget to garnish with spices for added flavor and color!

Ingredients

For the Pumpkin Pie Milkshake

  • 1 slice Heinen’s pumpkin pie, plus more for topping
  • 1 cup Heinen’s vanilla ice cream
  • ¼ cup Heinen’s milk

For the Spiced Whipped Cream

  • 1 cup Heinen’s heavy cream, chilled
  • 2 Tbsp. Heinen’s pure organic maple syrup
  • ½ tsp. Heinen’s ground cinnamon
  • A dash of Heinen’s ground ginger
  • A dash of Heinen’s ground nutmeg
  • A dash of Heinen’s ground clove
  • A dash of Heinen’s ground allspice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, add the heavy cream, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove, and allspice. Use a handheld mixer or stand mixer to whip until peaks begin to form. Transfer into a piping bag,
  2. In a blender, add the pumpkin pie slice, ice cream, and milk. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Pour the milkshake into a glass and top with spiced whipped cream. Garnish with a small piece of pumpkin pie and cinnamon, if desired.
