3 Burgers, 3 Meals: Easy Ways to Serve Heinen’s Gourmet Burgers

Ingredients

Meatball Subs

  • Heinen’s extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Heinen’s gourmet bruschetta beef burgers
  • Heinen’s steak rolls
  • Heinen’s marinara sauce
  • Heinen’s shredded mozzarella
  • Heinen’s hand-selected 24 month-aged Parmigiano Reggiano
  • Fresh basil, for garnish

Buffalo Chicken Sliders

  • 2 Heinen’s gourmet buffalo chicken burgers
  • Heinen’s hand-selected gorgonzola cheese
  • Heinen’s brioche dinner rolls
  • Butterleaf lettuce
  • Tomatoes

Chopped Steak

  • Heinen’s extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 Heinen’s gourmet steakhouse burgers
  • Yellow onion, sliced
  • Button mushrooms
  • Heinen’s beef stock
  • Heinen’s Daily Bites mashed potatoes

Instructions

For the Meatball Subs (Serves 2)

  1. Break two Heinen’s gourmet bruschetta burgers into pieces and roll the pieces into meatballs.
  2. Over high heat, add a little olive oil to a cast iron skillet and sear the meatballs until golden brown and cooked through on all sides. Remove the meatballs from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Place the steak rolls on a sheet tray and toast them lightly in the oven.
  4. Once toasted, leave the rolls on the sheet tray and spoon the marinara sauce on the inside of the rolls.
  5. Place three cooked meatballs on top of the marinara and finish with a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese and Parmigiano Reggiano.
  6. Place the sheet tray under the broiler until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Serve with Heinen’s frozen steakhouse fries, if desired.

For the Buffalo Chicken Sliders (Makes 8 Sliders)

  1. Portion two of Heinen’s buffalo chicken burgers into 8 slider patties.
  2. Pan sear or grill the sliders until golden brown and cooked throughout.
  3. While still on the grill, top each slider with Heinen’s crumbled gorgonzola cheese.
  4. Remove from the grill and serve on Heinen’s brioche buns with lettuce and tomato.

For the Chopped Steak (Serves 2)

  1. Heat some oil in a cast iron skillet.
  2. Add two Heinen’s steakhouse burgers to the pan and sear until golden brown and cooked throughout.  Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Add sliced yellow onions and button mushrooms to the skillet. Cook over high heat until golden brown.
  4. Add Heinen’s beef stock and cook until it becomes a thick gravy.
  5. Transfer the cooked burgers to a dinner plate and top with the onion and mushroom gravy.
  6. Serve with a side of Heinen’s Daily Bites mashed potatoes.
