Cheese School: Washed Rind Cheeses 101
There’s a lot to love about cheese, and we’re celebrating all of its delicious qualities through a series of informational tastings called Cheese School 101*.
Hosted in the Tasting Room at Heinen’s Chagrin Falls, Heinen’s Specialty Cheesemonger and American Cheese Society Certified Cheese Professional, Shannon Welsh, will discuss all there is to know about a specific category of cheese while attendees taste a selection of featured cheeses paired with complimentary beverages.
The next installment of Heinen’s Cheese School is all about washed rind cheeses. While these cheeses have a reputation for being stinky, don’t let that fool you; they’re actually elegant, luscious and extremely decadent. Attendees will have the opportunity to taste a curated selection of washed rind cheeses and discover perfect pairing suggestions.
